Look how obediently Magnus tries on his new sweater as it grows! ^.^
Not every man has the luxury of handmade clothing, eh?
I felt it was time, and I found the pattern on Ravelry after some browsing - I feel for the lovely rib detail at the raglan seams! Using Big Merino from Drops is perfect for this, and lovely to work with. I just wish it came in more and more vibrant colors! But, this greyish blue is lovely. I've been knitting alot on this the past two days, and by now one sleeve is finished, and I'm about half through the second one.
Previous sweaters for Magnus are the Dragon sweater, and Rockaway. He get's one per winter, it seems! Oh, I see that I never blogged about the finished Rockaway! That's it, I need to go through my Ravelry notebook and make a list of everything that I've forgotten to blog about! :)

Inte är det varje karl som får lyxen av handgjorda kläder, inte sant?
Jag kände att det var dags, och jag hittade mönstret på Ravelry efter lite surfande. Föll för den läckra resårdetaljen! Att använda Big Merino från Drops passar perfekt, och det är riktigt skönt att arbeta med. Jag önskar att det fanns i fler och starkare färger! Men, denna gråblå är riktigt snygg. Jag har stickat ganska mycket på den här de senaste två dagarna, så nu är en ärm klart och jag är halvvägs igenom den andra.
Tidigare tröjor till Magnus är Dragon sweater, och Rockaway. Han får en per vinter, verkar det som! Åh, jag ser att jag glömt blogga om den färdiga Rockaway! Det var droppen, nu måste jag gå igenom min Ravelry notebook och göra en lista på allting som blivit obloggat! :)

New pattern: Dormant Dandy

Thank you for the lovely comments on the pics from my trip - it really was a welcome break in the autumn darkness, but now it's so good to be back home again! I easily get homesick, and home is probably my favourite place in the world! My own place to craft, drink tea, eat chocolate, read books, cook and spend time with my hubby. ^.^

About a month ago I managed two new sketches - after some failed attempts it feels very good to be finished with two prototypes that I'm happy with! First out is this vest, Dormant Dandy.
Knitted top down in one piece, and the pattern ranges from sizes 3 months to 8 years. My version is size 12 months and knitted in Drops Nepal. Yellow and white sure is a lovely combo, eh?

Tack för de härliga kommentarerna på bilderna från resan - det var verkligen en välkommen paus i höstrusket, men nu är det skönt att vara hemma igen! Jag är en äkta hemmamänniska, och hemma är nog där jag trivs allra bäst. Min egen plats att handarbeta, dricka te, äta choklad, läsa, laga mat och spendera tid med min gubbe! ^.^

Stickas uppifrån och ner i ett stycke, och mönstret finns i storlek 3 månader till 8 år. Min version är storlek 12 månader, och stickad i Drops Nepal. Gult och vitt är allt bra härligt ihop!

Jag har varit lite dålig på att översätta mina mönster till svenska det senaste, men nu under nästa vecka har jag faktiskt tänkt få tummen ur! Svenska översättningar på flera mönster kommer med andra ord snart!

Time for one of the top attractions - Colosseum!

This is a very classic photo for us - standing together on various vacations, with me holding the camera on an outstretched arm and taking a pic. We've got loads of these! ^.^

As you can see I'm fairly lightly dressed - it was around 25 degrees Celsius after all, but many Italians was already wearing their winter jackets! ô.O

Taking every chance possible to rest those feet, even if it's just a few seconds in an escalator. Damn, my feet hurt so much from all the standing and valking - I'll be sore for weeks!

Still, it all turned out to be a great vacation! ^.^

Knitting in Rome!

Hello my friends! Not much blogging going on right now, since I'm in Rome on vacation! Still knitting though - mad as I am I brought 5 (!) small projects with me. These mitts are almost finished, and got the honor of being photographed on the Colosseum!

 Hallå, mina vänner! Det blir inte mycket bloggat just nu, eftersom jag är i Rom på semester! Stickar gör jag dock såklart fortfarande - galen som jag är tog jag med mig inte mindre än 5 (!) små project. Dessa handledsvärmare är snart klara, och fick äran att bli fotograferade på Colosseum!

New pattern: Fair Lady

Going through my stuff I found another pattern that I have forgotten to told you about! I really need to start making notes about this, hah! You must think I'm spitting these out like there's no tomorrow. I was very productive this summer!
This is my Fair Lady, which was finished in June. Wow, that feels so long ago already. I guess I was still very preoccupied with everything revolving around the wedding then. ^.^
This is one of my favorite designs actually - I'm really happy with how this came out! The cotton yarn I used has the most amazing color, and the pictures doesn't do it justice. The pattern is available in sizes Newborn to 12 years, and as usual knitted top down and completely seamless.

När jag rotade runt hittade jag ett annat mönster som jag har glömt att berätta om! Jag måste verkligen börja göra anteckningar om detta, hah! Ni måste tro att jag spottar ut mönster till ingen ända. Jag var mycket produktiv denna sommaren!
Detta är min Fair Lady, som blev klar i juni. Wow, det känns som evigheter sedan.. Jag antar att jag fortfarande var mycket upptagen med allt som kretsade kring bröllopet vid den tiden. ^. ^
Detta är faktiskt en av mina favoritdesigns - jag är riktigt nöjd med hur resultatet blev! Bomullsgarnet jag använde har den mest fantastiska färg och bilderna gör det inte rättvisa (garnet är H.B Regnbågen Rainbow). Mönstret finns i storlekar nyfödd till 12 år, och som vanligt är det stickat uppifrån och ned i ett enda stycke.
